1) A professional author and illustrator create the B&W version of an original story.
2) Entrants color the pages.
3) Submissions are judged by decorated visual artists across books, tv, film, and gaming.
4) The winning colorist wins prizes and becomes a published artist.
Meet the Team
Rebecca Chu and Jesse Byrd are the co-founders of Moonbeam Labs 501(c)3.
They have 30 years of creative and professional experience between them with brands like Disney, Marvel, the NBA, Scholastic, Penguin RandomHouse, Google, Simon & Schuster, New York Edge, Ernst & Young, and more!
Our aim is to bring immersive storytelling, publishing, and STEAM experiences to more young people nationwide and globally.
