Young People Become Storytellers

Our workshops turn reading and writing into a creative experience. Young people develop characters, imagine new worlds, and work together to create stories that other children can read.

Participants practice planning, writing, listening, collaboration, and revision. Our goal is to help children see themselves as creators and build a stronger personal connection with books.

Published workshop books include A Second Chance, Zombie Shark, Robot Shark Finds a Friend, and Welcome to Candyland. Each gives readers a way to explore the imagination of young storytellers.
